This Privacy Policy explains how the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy ("SWCPC," "we," "us") handles information in the SWCPC Volunteer App ("the App"). The App is an internal tool for SWCPC volunteers to record volunteer hours and submit reimbursement requests. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

We built this App for our volunteers. We do not sell your data, show ads, use third-party analytics or tracking, or share your information with anyone outside SWCPC.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you provide while using the App:

Email address — used to sign you in and identify your volunteer record.
Name — your first name, associated with your volunteer record.
Volunteer hours — the hours, date, and an optional description of work you log.
Reimbursement requests — the amount, a description, and a receipt image or PDF you attach.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or device identifiers, and the App contains no advertising or analytics software.

Camera and Photo Access

The App requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can attach a receipt to a reimbursement request — either by taking a photo or selecting an existing image or PDF file. Access is used solely for that purpose, only when you choose to add a receipt, and only the receipt you select is uploaded.

How We Use Your Information

To verify your identity as an SWCPC volunteer and sign you in.
To record and report your volunteer hours.
To review, approve, and process reimbursement requests, including the attached receipt.

Where Your Information Goes

Information you submit is sent securely (over HTTPS) to SWCPC's own server at cms.corridorpark.org, where it is used to manage volunteer records and reimbursements. Your sign-in session is also stored locally on your device so you don't have to sign in every time. We do not transfer your information to any third-party service.

Data Retention

We keep volunteer hour and reimbursement records for as long as needed to operate our volunteer and finance programs and to meet recordkeeping obligations. You can sign out at any time, which clears your session from the device. To request deletion of your records, contact us using the details below.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. While no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for SWCPC volunteers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your volunteer records at any time by contacting us. You can also stop using the App and sign out to remove your session from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
